Pablo González Izquierdo

I’m Pablo González Izquierdo, an Economics student at CUNEF University in Madrid and Co-Head of the CUNEF Investment Society. I’m deeply interested in how financial markets, public policy and macroeconomic forces interact to shape global outcomes and how rigorous analysis can help make sense of them.

I currently work at ING Bank as an intern within the Investment Strategy team, focusing on macro-to-market research, data-driven insights and strategic recommendations for senior management. My previous experiences at Funcas and Douglas Knowledge Partners allowed me to explore both the analytical and international sides of finance, from economic research to business strategy in emerging markets.

Formerly a competitive cyclist, I learned the discipline and perseverance that now define my approach to work and study. My goal is to build a career in finance, combining analytical precision with a global perspective, not just to interpret the economy, but to understand the forces that drive it.
